People who say this generation is lazy and has it so easy
have obviously never been to a community college on the first week of classes. A coin toss, let me repeat, an actual coin toss, determined whether I would get a seat in a class (I lost, but weirdly someone found a stool in the back that I graciously accepted). And there were at least 10-15 people in every other class, begging professors to let them in. All to get these classes to move on to a slightly better school, which will still likely have similar problems. So no one better say anything about “kids these days” to my face. Or I will go apeshit all over your ass!
..then again a kid’s mom tried to waitlist a class for him. So there’s that.
